PastBook allows people around the globe to turn their photos into high-quality, personalized printed photo books (and more) through innovative technology - in seconds. We are an Amsterdam based B2C scale up serving a global market, printing on 4 continents and shipping to 150+ countries. We were included in the list of Deloitte's Technology Fast50 growers in 2019 and 2020, and in the FT1000 list of Europe's fastest-growing companies in 2020 and 2021. But frankly, we’ve only just begun.

This is why we are looking for our first Performance Marketing Lead. Our marketing team is highly analytical, moves fast and is focused on delivering quantifiable results on a global scale. You will lead a team of digital marketing specialists and take full responsibility of the performance marketing funnel, from creative to strategy. You will continuously challenge the team to generate new ideas while providing them the freedom and strategic direction needed to grow both our results and their skills. Your background in managing large marketing budgets with a specific focus on Facebook and Instagram will enable you to constantly improve results. This is a very dynamic role where you will have the opportunity to grow your team and responsibility.

Job requirements

What you are going to do:

  • Lead and challenge your team of 4-5 performance marketers
  • Support team to analyse performance of marketing campaigns and identify ways to improve
  • Bring structure to the marketing and design process by acting as a dynamic go-between
  • Work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer
  • Test, iterate and scale performance based Facebook and Instagram marketing campaigns, in various languages on 4 continents.
  • Test new channels and technology to identify incremental audiences and inventory for accelerating growth
  • Manage an experimentation roadmap to optimize performance (eg: testing creatives, incrementality and scaling methods)
  • Stay on top of the market by following thought leaders, international conferences and direct access to Facebook teams.


Requirements:

  • 6-8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international D2C scale-up environment
  • Experience managing performance marketing teams
  • Experience leading large performance marketing budgets
  • Expert in Facebook and Instagram advertising, at scale and internationally
  • Fluent in English and preferably one other major European language (Dutch not required);
